Episode #11 - Kyle Dezse

Kyle is a senior at Ohio State and is going to do something in the medical field.  His memories of Hyatts are second to none.  This one is a good one to listen to.

On this workday that we had in Olentangy, there was one thing that I was really looking forward to and that was the visit of a former student of mine, Kyle Dezse.  Kyle, along with Trent Boucher and several other students back eight years ago, started to form what Eagle News is through their work for me in class.

I can say this pretty confidently, this was my most influential interview.  Kyle said how much his relationships with his teachers at HYATTS, not OSU or LIBERTY, but at Hyatts Middle School shaped his success in school.

Kyle and I sat down and talked about how middle school shaped his personality, high school shaped him academically and he really talked up how Eagle News was major to his growth.  Kyle also talked about his medical classes including anatomy that he really loved.

Kyle and I went back to his work in Eagle News and how nervous he was every time he got in front of the camera to record and to go live.  He also said the butterflies were around when he hosted the Hyatts Film Festival.

I know that I will follow Kyle as he moves on with his education and I look forward to sharing his success.
