Episode #13 - Taran S.
Taran's interview happened because we connected on Facebook, which I do with students from Eagle News that are either juniors or seniors in high school. Then I ran into her at Target the following week and I passed the test on where all her friends were going to college.

It's been awhile since I had an old student come visit the Eagle News podcasting studio and over Spring Break, Taran got in touch with me over Facebook so that we can set this up. I was very excited. It's always fun to visit with students who take me back over 3 years ago and having Taran back in Eagle News was a lot of fun.
Throughout the interview we spent talking about her college search where she is still deciding between Xavier and Belmont and it was fun to help her break down the pros and cons of both places. I am so jealous, I would love to go back to college. Now, if you know me, I would advise her to pick Belmont. Being a Dayton graduate, Xavier was our main rival in basketball, not anymore, but the feelings are still there against Xavier. I told Taran all this, kidding of course, for going to any school is going to be great, for all those choosing to do so.
We talked about her trip to Europe and all the cool places that she went to visit and we talked about how her time at Liberty is slipping away and she shared her love of photography through the classes she has been taking.
