Episode #9 - Jylian H.
Jylian was one of my students of the year 4 years ago and she graduated a couple weeks ago and will be heading to Ohio University. I am so proud of Jylian and I can't wait to follow her work in college.

Ok, so this podcast starts with a story. Ambria, Jylian's sister is a 7th grade student in my Computer Programming class. If you follow this blog or the podcast, you know that I have interviewed several other Hyatts' students for the "A Look Back" section of this podcast and I mentioned to Ambria to tell her sister to get in here to be interviewed.
So she did. Right there, and all of a sudden Jylian was here the next day.
How honored I was that she wanted to come in so quickly to share her journey from Hyatts to Ohio University. We also talked about her time at Olentangy High School and how inviting the people, al of them, from teachers to students were at OHS. We talked about how Eagle News started her passion to be a journalist, the experience of the lip dub, to her memories of Mr. Benesh's candy and playing basketball for Mr. Nicolosi and Mrs. McNeilan.
It was a special visit today and I hope that Jylian moves on to a successful college career at Ohio University. I am sure that she will keep me posted!
